My Cardio – Only 11 Minutes!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about my cardio - duration, intensity, frequency, style, etc. – so here you go. I currently do cardio 3 times a week AFTER my weight training workouts. I hit the weights 3 times a week, so that means 3 cardio sessions per week.

Each cardio session lasts 10-12 minutes, therefore I’m doing about 30 to 35 minutes of cardio per week – that’s it!
This gives me an opportunity to burn a little fat, and increase my metabolic conditioning while simultaneously maximizing my recovery time and (hopefully) not burning any muscle.

Make sure that you’re warmed up before doing this workout.
And get your heart rate up a bit. You don’t want to go into this cold.

E3MOM – “every 3 minutes on the minute”

  • 20 - Jumping Jacks
  • 16 - Push-ups
  • 16 - Dumbbell Thrusters (I used 20s)
  • 20 - Step-Ups

I just did 4 cycles, and was done in 11 minutes.

Enjoy!
