How to reduce the hip measurement

The second most asked question I get from females (after “how do I tighten my tummy?”) is: “How do I reduce the size of my hips?”

There are some things that we can do for the hip area, as well as some things that we cannot change.

We are able to reduce body fat in that area by following or normal fat loss protocols. Those would include a slight caloric deficit, weight training to build muscle (which will increase your metabolism), plenty of water, clean eating, etc.

We cannot change the distance from hip bone to hip bone. That dimension is what it is.

However, we are able to reduce the appearance of that measurement - to create the illusion of smaller hips. This can be done by proper training of the shoulders. If your shoulders are slightly wider, the hips will appear narrower!

Give this home workout out a try.

12 dumbbell side lateral raises

Immediately followed by 12 dumbbell shoulder presses.

Rest 60 seconds and repeat

Rest another 60 seconds and repeat again.

Enjoy! 💪🏼
