Insufficient sleep increases the risk of obesity by 89% in adolescents and 55% in adults.

Let’s talk for a moment about sleep. 😴
I get it… Not a glamorous aspect of health and fitness.

Happy Mindset Monday! 😎
Your level of results are directly proportional to your level of consistency!
Cold hard truth on this Monday. 😳
It’s OK to be inconsistent at times. We just don’t want to be inconsistent AND expect great results. You can’t expect level 10 results with level 2 consistency and effort.
She came to me with a goal…
To lose inches off of her waist, and
looking for a plan that she can “maintain”.
We should all be looking for a plan & a program that we can maintain. And I would highly suggest that before you ever start a “diet” ask yourself that question… Is this something that I am able to maintain? If the answer is no – move on!
Anyway… Mission accomplished!
Happy Mindset Monday! 😎
What will it say on your gravestone?
Are you breaking your body and soul at work (a job in which you would be quickly replaced), punching long hours and no time to care for your health?
This one really tugs at my heart. I like to give you guys great information. I like to get you thinking. And I occasionally like to post some funny things. All of which to bring awareness to our health and fitness.
But like I said… This one really tugs at my heart. I hope you’ll read and share.
And the wonderful thing is that “lifetime success” can start with a single decision, forever altering your health and fitness path!
This is really one of the first questions I ask a new perspective client. “Are you looking to lose 15 pounds for a wedding? Or are you looking to make a lifelong change in your health and fitness?”
For a variety of reasons, helping someone drop a quick 15 pounds is really not what I’m after. My goal is to help steer people towards a lifetime of health and fitness. I want to get them to a point where they really don’t even have to worry about it anymore.
The unpleasant truth is that you need to be in it for the long run. Otherwise, it’s going to be a series of yo-yo diets, and the frustrations of “two steps forward, and one step back.”
But here’s the good news:
It doesn’t take extreme efforts. It doesn’t take some type of crazy intensity. It merely takes better daily choices. Small little investments into our health and fitness. Which add up overtime.
I want you to wake up in the morning feeling so good that you want to do a little bit more than you did the day before, you have better energy, and you won’t ever want to go back to how you felt before. 😊
Remember…it could be that single choice that can be the catalyst for a lifetime of health and wellness.
What can you start today? 💪🏼
